The meeting with the Cuban Olga introduced me to the retro Latin repertoire that we sang in restaurants on Saturday evenings. My voice then developed to lead me to the conservatory and consider a career in the world of classical / lyrical. However, after 26 years of operatic production and a hundred tenor roles in opera/operetta/oratorio, I have always kept these Latinos that I adore on the program of my galas.

Jean-Pierre Mérault, double bass player and arranger, passionate about the voice, produced the orchestrations of the "Tango Latino" show, which gave birth to the album: The lyrical voice sublimates the bolero, chachacha, bossa... and tango in s' based on new arrangements for modern orchestra and big band, on acoustic instrument thus enhancing the dancing character of retro Latin.
The melodies are by naturally affectionate Spanish language.
